Scotland’s Cyber and Fraud Centre introduces Cyber Advance, aiding SMEs and charities in affordable expert-guided cyber resilience with assessments and training.

Scotland’s leading organisation for building cyber resilience, the Cyber and Fraud Centre – Scotland, introduces the Cyber Advance service, aimed at guiding SMEs and charities with limited IT resources to strengthen their digital resilience. 

The program provides a Vulnerability Assessment, leveraging ethical hackers to identify system weaknesses, assess severity levels, and recommend mitigation actions—offering expert evaluation at an affordable cost. The comprehensive cyber training component educates organisations and teams on cybercrime and fraud prevention

Street Soccer Scotland, a charity, benefited from the program, accessing affordable expert advice and vulnerability assessment for the first time. Cameron Black, Central Operations Manager at Street Soccer Scotland, praised the invaluable support, emphasising the significance of data security for their services.

With this service, we’ve developed an opportunity for organisations to access expert insight at an affordable cost. With businesses of all sizes at risk of cybercrime and fraud, Cyber Advance provides a means to identify risks in existing cyber plans and mitigate them before they become a problem”.
