ITI GROUP has signed a three-year contract with TotalEnergies to manage the real-time data systems that monitor all of their UK North Sea assets.

The new agreement will see ITI Group providing support services for all of TotalEnergies’ North Sea AVEVA PI System infrastructure, giving them peace of mind through 24/7 resolution of issues, as well as access to proactive technical expertise, ensuring that the systems which allow them to remotely monitor their assets in real time, continue to run effectively.

The support remit will cover over 80 PI System interfaces across all TotalEnergies’ UK North Sea assets. ITI Group will deliver routine monitoring, 24/7 support services, security reviews and upgrades for the interfaces, all ensuring system performance; in addition to providing factory and offshore site commissioning resources, plus consultancy services and project support to enhance their operations.

Chris Stones, Sales Director (Energy) at ITI Group, praised the team who led the direct client engagement: “Great credit must be given to the wider pursuit team within ITI Group, and in particular our Digital Innovation Manager Liam Douglas who saw this opportunity all the way through to award. Well done all.”

When asked about the value that ITI Group will provide to the client, Liam said: “We have many customers who trust us to manage their entire PI System infrastructure, and this is largely thanks to our ability to develop new technology and solve their challenges. Where our clients are open to new ideas, we endeavour to help them push the boundaries of what is possible, and TotalEnergies is a forward-thinking energy company that sees the value in innovation, so we’re looking forward to working with them further to help transform their operations.”

ITI Group combines the expertise of historically respected industry players including Servelec Controls, Scomagg, SIA and CSE Controls. Having supported safety, control and monitoring systems for the oil and gas industry for over 50 years, ITI Group’s support services help clients to maximise economic recovery, extend asset life, and reduce OPEX.
