In a significant move for the Scottish tech sector, Zappaty, a Glasgow-based secure file sharing and collaboration platform for SMEs, has announced the appointment of Stuart Montgomerie as its new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and advisor.

Montgomerie, a former Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) executive, brings a wealth of finance industry expertise to the growing tech firm.

Zappaty, which specialises in providing secure file sharing solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, has brought Montgomerie on board at what appears to be a crucial juncture in the company’s growth trajectory. The appointment is expected to bolster Zappaty’s strategic direction and market position in the competitive tech landscape.

“We are delighted to welcome Stuart to Zappaty. His experience and strategic insight will be invaluable as we scale our platform and meet the needs of an underserved client base. With Stuart on board, we’re well-positioned to accelerate our growth ambitions and continue delivering exceptional value to our clients and partners.”

Mr Montgomerie said: “I’m thrilled to join Zappaty at such an exciting stage in its development. The platform’s approach to file sharing and collaboration is transformative, and I’m looking forward to helping shape the company’s strategy, to drive  its impact and expand its reach across new markets.”
